We have included information about the trip below, but here are a few things you need to know. The cost will be around $2,500. Students need to be 16 or older.

Here is more information:

Job Description:
Plant new or strengthen recent church plants and outreach groups within the greater Quito area. Reach out in other ways such as service projects, sports and discipleship. Receive church planting training as you serve.
Cultural Information:
Temperatures are the same year round, with lows in the 50s and highs in the 70s with unpredictable rain. A light weatherproof jacket is suggested. Hats and sunscreen should be carried at all times. Most Ecuadorians speak Spanish and some speak English.

 Geographic Information:

Quito is located in the Andes mountains at 9,500 feet in elevation.

 Available Housing:

 Health Considerations:

Anyone with a heart condition should consult a physician before coming. The altitude can cause shortness of breath and other problems. Some people take 1 aspirin/day several days before leaving to thin the blood and reduce altitude headaches, but please consult a physician. It is recommended that those coming on short trips start walking as a form of exercise before coming. Anyone with previously existing conditions or heart condition should inform the group leader and project coordinator before coming.Quito is located at 9,500 feet above sea level; anyone with a heart or respiratory condition should consult a physician before coming. They should also advise their group leader and project coordinator of any such conditions.
