Plant new or strengthen recent church plants and outreach groups within the greater Quito area. Reach out in other ways such as service projects, sports and discipleship. Receive church planting training as you serve.
Temperatures are the same year round, with lows in the 50s and highs in the 70s with unpredictable rain. A light weatherproof jacket is suggested. Hats and sunscreen should be carried at all times. Most Ecuadorians speak Spanish and some speak English.
Quito is located in the Andes mountains at 9,500 feet in elevation.
Housing will be a guest house or camp operated by another mission organization or similar facilities known by IMB missionaries. Please contact your project coordinator if you have special needs, such as dietary needs or cold storage of medications.
